It was an honour to be commissioned to create the brand for Glebe Farm School. Working with the Headteacher and the school’s Multi-Academy Trust, I completed a brand analysis of competitor / comparator schools and explored their proposed mission statement before creating an initial set of logo concepts which were developed into this chosen design.

The icon is derived from the word ‘glebe’ – meaning cultivable land and fields – with a simple illustration of ploughed farmland under a sunrise, representing growth, new beginnings and positivity – all encapsulated into a capital letter G.

I then created a set of brand guidelines – identifying logo usage, colour palette, typography, tone of messaging etc along with a set of icons to promote the school’s core values.
