When Maya reached out, she knew she wanted a brand that felt like an extension of herself and the experience she creates for her clients. Grounded yet empowering. Calm yet strong. Purposeful, personal, and rooted in nature.
Together, we crafted a visual identity that speaks directly to wellness seekers drawn to a slower pace of life—those craving deep breaths, ocean air, and intentional movement.
The colour palette draws from Maya’s natural surroundings: ocean blues, warm sandy tones, and soft, organic textures that reflect her lifestyle and ethos.
I chose an elegant serif typeface—refined and timeless—delicate enough to feel peaceful, yet strong enough to reflect the quiet power of her practice. The ‘O’ in her wordmark features a custom seascape icon—waves meeting the rising sun—to encapsulate the feeling of her sessions: calm, fluid, and expansive.
I wanted to step away from yoga clichés and created something truly intentional. No yoga pose illustrations—just strong, expressive typography and design choices that let Maya’s energy and message take centre stage. A brand that feels like a mindful walk on the beach at golden hour—tranquil, empowering, and rooted in the everyday beauty of nature.
